Artists for Nature
‘Artist for Nature’ refers to ‘Eco-Logical’ artists who support the 7 Eco-Logical Virtues as identified by David Parry-Davies – publishing editor of The Enviropaedia. These 15 artists have been invited to create artworks inspired by their love and concern for the natural world. Curated by gallery director and artist, Marc Alexander, this exhibition aims to speak to current environmental issues and raise funds for the Endangered Wildlife Trust.
The exhibition will feature at the prestigious Eco-Logic Awards 2019 to be held at Sun International’s Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town, on World Environment Day 5 June. After which, the exhibition will be showcased at The Studio Art Gallery, from 7 June until 16 July.
Proceeds of the exhibition will go to the Endangered Wildlife Trust.
About the Eco-Logic Awards
The Eco-Logic Awards identify individuals, organisations and communities that positively contribute towards a sustainable world – and we encourage consumers to support them by purchasing their products and services.
The Enviropaedia established the Annual Eco-Logic Awards in 2011.
These Awards have since grown into South Africa’s most Glamorously Green eco-calendar event, receiving extensive TV, radio, print media and online coverage.
