100 Years Tribute Exhibition featured artworks: ‘Mandela – Man of Peace’ by Marc Alexander and ‘Fish Hoek Beach’ by Ray Potter.
Our first exhibition at the newly built Harbour Bay Centre in Simon’s Town, where we hosted a ‘100 Years’ Tribute Exhibition. This exhibition paid tribute to Nelson Mandela’s peace-loving legacy and the Fish Hoek centenary, by showcasing a collection of drawings, paintings, sculptures and some prized collectables of Nelson Mandela, as well as several artworks depicting scenes in and around 100-year-old Fish Hoek.
Art lovers were invited to join the celebration at the opening event on Wednesday 18 July and Noordhoek Auctioneers conducted a fundraising auction, where patrons had the opportunity to browse and bid on various items. All proceeds went to the upliftment of False Bay Hospital.
